Prior to moving to Arizona in 1993, Marcie worked as a Broker in both New Hampshire and Maine, and owned her own real estate company in Exeter, NH. She was also president and general contractor of a development company building homes and townhouses near the New Hampshire coast in the mid 1980s. Working as a Real Estate agent with Prudential Preferred Properties in Sun City, beginning January 1994, Marcie moved into management of a branch office for nine years, during which the company transitioned over two acquisitions to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She retired from management in 2009, and is back in the field as an agent in the Valley of the Sun and the Peeples Valley-Yarnell area. She is a Realtor with both the West Maricopa Board of Realtors and the Prescott Area Association of Realtors.
After living in Peeples Valley part time for six years, Marcie, her husband, Lewis, and their furry family members, Merle and Kyle, moved permanently to Peeples Valley in 2006. Currently, Marcie serves as president of the Peeples Valley Fire Department Auxiliary, as a member of the Yarnell Memorial Park committee, and as treasurer of the Yarnell Hill Recovery Group, Inc.
