Park Features

-Two-story, handicapped-accessible restroom; the entryway on Highway 89 will have an overlook that will allow visitors to see down into the park.

-A sloping walkway will guide visitors north toward Shrine Road, then down into the park. The wall of this walkway will be a "story wall" which will tell the story of the Yarnell Hill Fire.

-A photo of the Granite Mountain Hotshots as a human pyramid (with missing members photoshopped in), laser etched on metal and mounted to large boulders  is planned as the centerpiece of the memorial.

-A flat patio area near memorial boulders can function as a performing area.

-Amphitheatre seating will take advantage of the land's natural slope, as well display Memorial Bricks.

-Visitors will park on Highway 89. Handicapped parking will be provided on Highway 89 and at the west side of the park.

While we are still in the process of gathering hard costs,
our initial fundraising goal is $250,000.

Make a tax-deductible donation via PayPal or buy a commemorative brick.

Commemorative bricks are priced at  $100, $200 or $300. The bricks are produced by a small, family-owned Arizona company, which has donated a brick for each of the fallen firefighters. Bricks closest to the memorial centerpiece will be those purchased at $300.
